About Us

I was hiking in the Northern territory of Khumba, in the Himalayas.  We were being guided by a Sherpa named Pemba, who had been over the 25,000 foot threshold more than a dozen.  We had stopped for a break to enjoy a meal.  While we were eating, we heard this horrific sound, kinda like a Giraffe being strangled.  We all know horrific that sounds.  Pemba even seemed confused and concerned.  When I asked what that was, he said that we needed to keep moving.

All of the sudden, Pemba gets this strange look on his face and I asked him what was wrong.  He told us that we needed to gather our things and get moving...quickly.  As we were getting our things together, we heard this horrific sound.  It was very similar to a wounded giraffe, and we all know how horrible that sounds.  I started running, once I saw that everyone else was.  I quickly passed everyone else with my Olympic sprinter speed.

After a few minutes, Pemba said that we should be safe.  I asked him what scared him...he told me that he had never seen one, but he always thought they might exist.  He then asked us to keep moving, that he would explain once we were back at the base camp.  I started talking to another hiker from Killarney Ireland, Seamus McClaritin.  I asked him what he thought that sound was and he said "I have no fookin idea what would make such a sound.  The closest thing I've heard to a sound like that was when I threw a beatin' on this fookin Englishman last year.  He cried like an 8 year old girl, it was brilliant"  We all laughed.  As we came over the crest of a hill something blindsided me.  Everything went black.

I started to gain consciousness a bit.  Pemba was grabbing me and saying something, but it was all garbled.  My hearing started to come back and he was yelling "Get Up and Run!  It's a Yeti!!!"  I turned my head and I saw Seamus squaring up to this huge beast, probably 8 foot tall.  It let out a horrific scream.  Seamus pulled his hiking gloves off and yelled at the Beast..."Come on, Fight me, I'm Irish!"  Just before I passed out, I thought, that would make a great T-Shirt.  And that is how this company was born.  I hope you enjoy our designs.
Feel free to contact us if you are interested in a custom shirt.  We can make anything that your pretty little head can come up with.
